Creative Ways to Show Off Your Art Cards
Collecting ACEO and art cards can be a fun and affordable hobby. Whether you trade art cards through a forum or like to purchase your ACEO on a craft website like ETSY, displaying your pieces of fine art can be an art in itself.
I keep my art cards in a binder. I add to the binder baseball card storage sleeves. These sleeves hold nine cards. It is fun to flip through the binder to view the art work there. The only problem is that my cards are not enjoyed by anyone other than myself unless I pull out the whole notebook to show off to company. By displaying art cardsyou can show off your tiny bits of art and rotate through your collection so that the art cards you are displaying stay fresh and have a chance to get rotated.
Art cards and ACEO can be displayed for public viewing in many creative and fun ways. Tie or macrame silk cord around your cards and hang them on everyday objects or plants. The cards look beautiful tied up and hung on your Christmas Tree.
Assemble your art cards together to form a collage and display on a table top or shelving unit. ACEO and ATC can be displayed in a collage theme by using a photo tree display stand or a collage photo frame. Since art cards only measure 2 1/2" x 3 1/2" they are easy to mix and match.
Another great display tip is to use a small frame stand. These stands can be purchased very inexpensively and you can swap your ACEO out as it fits your mood.

The opportunities for displaying your art cards are endless. Clip them with clothespins to string hung from one end of a wall to the next. Stringing art cards is a great way to show off a collection of cards that were produced in a series, to use to display cards based on a theme or to showcase an individual artist.
A cute idea used by Four Corners Designs is to clip your art cards from a vintage style skirt hanger. Besides hanging art cards from the hanger you can add elements that compliment the theme of the art cards.
When all else fails, mat and frame your art cards. Art cards crafted by a well known artists or ones that have cost you a lot of money since they are originals should be matted in acid free mats and protected by glass by framing.
When not on display, all of your ACEO and ATC should be kept in individual clear plastic sleeves or in the plastic protective sleeves of a baseball card binder page. By protecting your art cards and ACEO you will be sure to have them for years to come and be able to keep them in excellent condition for the next time you choose to display them.

What great ideas! I like the skirt hanger. I'm going to dig one out of my closet right now.
